Review of Clearview vision 500 stove
Clearview's brilliant stove.
We bought the stove in March this year.\nThe stove is really easy to light and once it has reached temperature is very economical. We bought a thermometer which tells us of the ideal temperature. We burn coal as well as seasoned wood, the stove will easily stay in all night. We have left the stove for twenty four hours and it still burns up when you open the damper.\nOur lounge is about 19 foot square. The recommended stove for this area is 10 kw, however our 8 kw Clearview is more that adequate. Once the stove gets going the room quickly warms up and this valuable heat then heats into the kitchen. The central heating is now redundant. We are saving a fortune in heating costs and the stove will pay for itself very quickly. It is a simple design with basically nothing to go wrong. I understand that the door seal will need to be replaced every so often, however, this is basic fire rope and I understand very easy to do.\nI now would not be without a multifuel stove but would only go for a Clearview. We bought a coloured Clearview stove and expected that after a time it would show signs of burning, to date it shows no sign at all of blackening on the outside.\nIt is such a pleasure to come into a warm lounge and to be able to sit down without multiple sweaters in an attemt to keep warm.
