We have had this stove for 18 months and love it. It lights easily and burns through at the end of the day; we pull the wood burning control fully out then. We once tried it with coal and that was a success too. We find it useful to wipe the interior of the window after about 5 days of burning. This stove replaced an open coal fire and the convenience of a controlled and safe fire with minimal mess has turned us evangelical about this wood burner.
