Review of Clearview vision 500 stove

brilliant burn but paint rubbish

Stephen Tucker 9 years ago

We had vision 500 installed by a company in Cornwall. The stove itself burns well but all the paint on the stove edges just came away leaving bare metal not good for a week old stove and that was with wood only

Stove expert replied: The external paint finish takes a few fires to cure before it hardens to provide a good hard finish. Replacement paint should be provided after such a short period as the warranty should cover this, I would suggest contacting the supplier to see if they can get this for you, they may require the serial number of the stove which should be on the stove or documents provided.
