Review of Clearview vision 500 stove

'Does exactly what it says on the Tin'

In my opinion nothing out there keeps the glass clean like a clearview stove. Whilst it maybe more air rich than some and not have world shattering efficiency ratings up against cheaper stoves on the market- you won't notice any lack of performance.

Even when you slow the stove right down and some of the glass gets sooty, and quick blast of flame will bring it back to good as new.

The controllability is fantastic- I've seen nothing else like it- with one push of the air control the flame will change to a slow lick across the large window.

This stove kept our bungalow and family warm a few years back when the boiler packed in during the harsh winter.

Clearview does have a 'one size fits all' when it comes to their design of stove across the range- I like it- sort of traditional with a hint of the contemporary. Their catalogue did not do the stove any justice- (they need some help with their marketing in my opinion) but don't let that put you off - go and look at one at a local dealer.

Overall- fantastic stove!
