Having had a British built Logfires Stove and an American cast iron Vermont Stove over 20yrs all I can say is that the Clearview Vision 500 is in a league of its own. It does absolutely everything that is claimed of it and it is incredibly economical. Very little ash is produced from either hardwoods or softwoods and the glass remains as clear as promised. Compared to the competition a Clearview is the least expensive. Avoid the rush to buy in the autumn and get it installed Spring/summer when the fitters are less busy. Easily the best present you can give your home.
