Our first stove was the Pioneer and it set a benchmark which is hard to match. Very controllable, heats up in a jiffy, and no fancy grate system which gets jammed. The (adjustable) handle design is simple and effective. All in all very pleased with the stove, and the second stove we bought would have been a Cleaview except for the fact that they don't sell a double-sided stove. We ended up with a Woodwarm Fireview 9kW, which don't get me wrong, is a good stove, but doesn't have the simplicity, ruggedness & ease of use the Pioneer does
