Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

Superb quality product

Mike Loewer 11 years ago

Purchased four years ago, installed myself with well insulated stainless steel flue liner (Checked by HETAS Engineer) and I use it instead of the central heating most of the time.

I have harvested my own hardwood and ensured it is properly stored, aiming for less than 20% moisture.

I find the stove very easy to light and throws out lots of heat,( I live in a 200 year old cottage and think it was worth investing in an insulated flue). Follow the instructions (buy a thermometer) and it will be all the manufacturers say. I never have to do more than use a damp kitchen towel to wipe away any slight smokiness on the glass.

Well worth the money and I would buy again.
