Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

Everything and more.

GK

We had our Pioneer 400 installed just before Christmas 2012 and it has hardly missed a days burning since. We have an open plan lounge and dining room and at first I was a little concerned the P400 would struggle to heat sufficiently despite my installer telling me we were making the right decision, happy to report it keeps the whole of our lower floor nice and warm and throws warmth up the stairs too. Control is easy, lighting a doddle, it looks and feels quality and we can’t imagine life without it now. We've been in this house for almost ten years but I can’t ever remember sitting around in t-shirt and no socks when it’s -3 outside!

We have a trivet on top of the stove and keep a kettle on it filled with water, this gives us constant hot water for washing up and drinks, another way to save on gas!

Thank you to ‘What Stove’ for helping us choose this model, so glad we did.
