Review of Clearview Pioneer 400 stove

Clearview Pioneer 400

Michael

We have ran one of these for about 3 years and I have to say that I needed a lot of persuading by my other half that we should spend this much on a stove. However she was right. It's heat output is fantastic, it comfortably heated our 25'x13', not very well insulated, living room with ease. Lighting was a little bit temperamental, you need lots of kindling and very dry logs to get it going and it does need well seasoned wood to get the best out of it. The airwash is brilliant and having now experienced stoves by other manufacturers is probalby the best in the business. Never tried to keep it going over night so can't comment on this. I recommend it highly for a medium sized room and would definitely buy again.

Why only give rate it two, when your review is, all in all very positive. A very misleading review!
