Review of Clearview 650 stove

Clearview 650 boiler stove

Richard Burton 9 months ago

Had one of these stoves for over twenty years, it heats a 4 bedroom house with 13 radiators, supplies us with all the hot water we need. It works equally well on wood or smokeless coal (we burn mainly wood) using a couple of baskets of wood a day in the colder weather, when we have it lit all day into the evening. Friends who have other larger stoves heating part of the house or one room only, seem to use at least half what we do. Went for this stove because it was the only one I could find that you can change the boiler on without scrapping the stove, new boiler around £500 so when it does need replacing a cheaper cost than a new stove. Really pleased with stove, and how it performs, saves a fortune on heating costs.Lights very easily, especially compared with the new eco stoves.
