I bought a clearview 650 boiler stove 18 months ago, three weeks ago the boiler started leaking, I contacted the supplier to get a replacement boiler which they had in. Although they sold it to me at a reduced price of £240, they and Clearview both pointed out that the boilers were only guaranteed for 12 MONTHS, I told them that I have had two charnwood boiler stoves both of which lasted 10 YEARS a piece.

After taking the original boiler out it was clear there was poor welding where the leak had occurred, nearly three weeks later I am still waiting to hear if I will be refunded the cost of the new boiler.

Stove expert replied: Disappointing failure, these parts do only come with a 12 month warranty.
