Review of Charnwood Island II stove

Almost 14 years on .......

Albert Jackson yesterday

I can confidently praise the ISLAND 2 multifuel stove, we''ve had one installed and used annually for the last 14 years from autumn to spring as required, it is our only source of heating, the house is open plan and it performs fantastically.

I note many comments of the fire bricks, throat/baffle plate and door seals. These are all easily replaceable parts.

Baffle plate I replace after 4/5 years.

Rear fire bricks about the same, generally they get damaged by throwing fuel into the fire.

Door rope about 3 years.

This stove owes me nothing, still going strong - Look after your stove and it''ll certainly look after you.

AND they work during power cuts.
