Review of Charnwood Country 4 stove

Honest stove

Mike Barnes 16 years ago

When we first saw this stove the salesman said it's the only one you really need to look at, simple to use and nice to look at. He was right. We opted for the additional shelf which I would advise you to get as it just gives a nice overall finish. The airwash works but as it says in the manual on low burn the glass will blacken up and this is certainly the case, but I understand that most stoves suffer from this. The HETAS installer knew it and said it was a good stove. Overall I would say a good honest stove that does us just fine, we use it regularly and have saved between 17 & 20% on our heating bills, probably more as this winter has been colder compared to the last few years.
