We bought this little stove to provide extra heat in our living room.We have been using it for two winters now and and have had no problems at all.The C4 has exceeded our expectations by not only providing extra heat for the living room but warming the whole of our three bedroom terraced house.We find this stove easy to light and control and if we use the right logs (oak/ash)it will burn through the night on the lowest setting (just).The glass window stays fairly clean provided we use well seasoned dry wood and if it does get dirty it is easily cleaned using damp cloth or paper dipped in wood ash.As we source and season all our own firewood we have never used anything else so do not know how well this stove would perform using smokeless fuel.Our chimney sweep tells us the design of this stove makes sweeping very easy.We are very happy with our C4 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple to use small stove.
