Bought the carron (black) about a year ago and I would say that I am moderately happy with it.

Plus points:

Looks good,

easy to light/use,

relatively inexpensive

Airwash works ok

Minus points:

Build quality a bit iffy

High fuel consumption

rather wish I had spent more and bought a clearview Vision 500 though it's at least double the price!

Stove expert replied: Is the high consumption due to the flue draw being in excess of the recommended draw stated by the manufacturer?
