Review of Carron enamel stove
Not Very Good
Bought the 6.7KW version in 2010, within 2-3 months the back fire brick had cracked right through, then a second one appeared. You have to feed it about every 20 minutes - so you can't stack it up and be warm for a few hours. It doesn't produce that much heat for its so called 6.7KW rating. I think I should have just forked out and bought a clearview in the first place, am now going to try and sell this one
Stove expert replied: Perhaps you have an over-drawing flue that could be helped with a damper or stabilizer. If stoves are working hard, not producing much heat and not very controllable check this out further. It may not be the stove that is at fault!
