Review of Burley Hollywell 9105 stove

Great stove

This is our first wood stove and what a difference it has made to our house. It is a simple design and very easy to get going. The amount of heat it is able to throw out is quite amazing. The flame picture is very captivating and the stove is so easy to control via the single air lever at the bottom. The stove does emit a harsh chemical smell initially until the paint has cured - this took a good 15 burns for us until it went away. I was starting to get a bit worried as I have read this normally takes 3-4 burns so something to watch out for. The size of the firebox is excellent for a 5Kw stove compared to other brands so it can take decent sized logs. The only negative I can really think of is the handle which works itself loose but we can live with that. If you're looking for a good quality mid-priced stove this is the one to go for.
