Review of Burley Brampton 9108 stove
Overall, I''m happy!
I had my Burley Brampton fitted in Feb 2013 so as of writing it''s done seven winters (for winter read November to mid May although April/May not used daily depending on the weather but just to take the chill off) In that time I''ve had to replace a couple of insulation panels and need to buy my second set of baffles. The glass is a bit cloudy in parts but it''s been like that for about 4 years now without getting any worse so I can live with that as it doesn''t obscure the flames too much. Like some of the other reviewers I do have smoke escape no matter how hard I try not to, although this seems to be a bit more of a problem of late rather than the early years. This is my first stove so can''t make any comparisons but overall, I love it! The heat it throws out easily warms up a big room and to have the central heating on at a temp of 24C would cost me a fortune so with the chimney sweep and part I would say it costs me about £60-£70 per year to run, not including time and wood of course.
