Review of Burley Brampton 9108 stove

The one to have

Derek Smith 11 years ago

Bought my Burley Brampton in summer 2013 after seeing my friends one in action, for 10 years I owned a stovax 8kw woodburner and was disappointed from the day I got it and was very dismissive of all woodburners. but this Brampton is amazing, gives out loads of heat and is really easy to control with its single lever, i've got the room sealing kit fitted so it takes it air from outside which helps. I clean the glass when I make the fire with spit and newspaper so it stays really clean but it never soots over and does stay clean. as they say only burn clean unvarnished and unpainted wood as I know from previous experience it pits the glass so it won't stay clean. Maybe all modern woodburners are this good but I wouldn't gamble on trying a different make and the price is very competitive.
