Review of Burley Brampton 9108 stove

Recent improvements

Some of the older reviews of this stove on this website mentioned poor finishing, weld splatter, poorly hung doors etc. This mini review is a response to those criticisms.

We had two a Brampton and a Hollywell installed yesterday and I must say that the fit and finish on the stoves was immaculate. There were no visible weld seams and every single part fitted and functioned perfectly. My only criticism is that the wooden handle mounting mechanism could be better but the currently used method is adequate.

With each stove there was a quality control check list that was signed off by someone after a long list of things including the fit of the doors and the presence of weld splatter. Obviously, Burley have listened to earlier criticisms and raised their game.

I can confidently say that quality of finish should no longer be a factor in avoiding a Burley stove.
