Review of Burley Brampton 9108 stove

8kW Burley - 3 years old

We bought this stove almost three years ago to replace a toally disatrous first choice. It is superb. We keep it alight all week, including overnight. It happily burns all varieties of wood - but some are much better than others. It is really easy to control and light. The only niggle is that the air control tends to slide closed, so we use a block of wood to hold it open where we want it. The airwash is miraculous, and the display when it is going flat out is fascinating.

Stove expert replied: Very strange that the air control moves on its own!!

The airvent can be tightened up by using a spanner or socket set on nut at rear of stove, this should prevent it working open or closed on it's own.
