Review of Bohemia 40 stove
a great stove
Two weeks ago we had the Bohemia X40 cube(the follow-on from the Bohemia 40 cube)installed into our existing fireplace. We also opted for the fluepipe to aide flow of gases - a very good move as the fire burns so so well because of the draw upwards which you can often hear! \nI have to say that we are absolutely DELIGHTED with the stove and would recommend this to anyone as the best choice of a 4.5 - 5 kW stove because of the WIDTH OF BURNING SPACE AND THE SIZE OF THE WINDOW. It feels like an open fire and it is so easy to load up with wood. We haven't tried burning it over night, but if any 4.5kW fire were to last all night it would be this one because of the space inside. \nWe actually installed 2 stoves, the other one an Morso 04 which we are also pleased with. The Morso stove feels and looks absolute quality but the windown is smaller and the burning box is no where near as user-friendly as the Bohemia since the fire needs to be built up with smaller pieces of wood. Because of this the resulting fire is also not as dramatic and wonderful as that produced in the Bohemia X40 cube. \nThe only possible negative with the Bohemia could be (for some people) that it is a very simple and functional design. Also it is not a well known make so I don't know about if we were to needed any servicing in the future, but we personally are not bothered about that. A small point is that the handle is stiffer than the Morso. Also when it is loaded up with wood and burning ferociously, it can take a bit of time to control down, but having said this, it,s not an issue. \n\nIn summary, it is an excellent value stove, fantastic size for kW output, we definitely made the right choice and I would most definitely buy this stove again and recommend it to you. \n\n
