Review of Aga Ludlow stove

Little Gem of a Stove

Lloyd 12 years ago

So glad the Ludlow has been added to the review section. Have had it installed since October '11 and have to say overall it is a brilliant stove. This is our first stove so can't be too comparative. Stove looks good and heats our downstairs easily. Once you understand the 3 control wheels/sliders the airwash system works well. Ill be honest if you want the glass crystal clear you have to give it a clean constantly. Also I only burn logs so I cant comment on coal etc. What I will say is that I've never managed to keep the stove in for more than 6 hours with WELL seasoned hardwood logs, however this is not a negative comment. With coal I believe this stove would easily stay in all night. Finally for the money I can't complain really is a lovely stove, very happy. \n\n
