Review of Aga Ludlow stove

A year on!

Lee Strutt 11 years ago

Well after having the Aga Ludlow for just over a year now I have mix feelings about this little wood burner. For the last 11 months the wood burners has worked well, giving a lovely heat (which was improved with a stove fan) it has been easy to light, burn, clean and run. I love the look and feel of the burner and very happy with the product, however the last 4 weeks, a blow plate fell off and the back plate had a crack in it. I wasn't particually worried about this, as I knew it was a good wood burner and it was a simple process of changing some parts and it'll be up and running again. However without a long drawn out comment, Aga has the worst customer relations ever! There is no point having a great product with little back up. Hopefully I shall have a new wood burner, just a little over 6 weeks after raising the intial call to Aga. Great product, shame about the poor backup :-/
