Review of ACR Neo 3C

Excellent wood burner

Jason Wheelet 2 years ago

Had this in for a couple of months now and it’s excellent. Lights really easily, burns very efficiently (probably too efficiently for small logs, but a decent large log lasts for a good couple of hours on the lowest (1 out of 4) settings. It is designed to burn out rather than to be kept on all night which I hadn’t appreciated when I bought it but the ash pan (with the handy lid!) is so easy to remove that it can be fired up and running in 5 minutes. I too had issues with the door which made me panic as the fire was lit, then realised I had dislodged one of the two horizontal grates at the front - it dropped back in the slot easily and problem solved. The latch is absolutely fine and have had no problems. I suppose my only complaint is I would like an even lower setting than the minimum one!
