I have the identical problem. Difficulty with closing the door including having to apply considerable pressure on occasions. Also, the burn rate of fuel is excessive with very frequent refuelling
required. An additional purchase of a draft reducer should not be necessary.

Stove expert replied: Have you been back to your supplier as there may be advice regarding the door issue. The flue draught does vary and therefore in some situations a damper or flue stabilizer may be required to insure that you have control over the stoves rate of burn.

I have had this stove only a few weeks but , what I find is when I close the door it doesn't close tight on occasions so you bang it shut , it sits on a pedestal so it shakes about when you
open or close the door breaking seals , it's going to need more support brackets on the vitreous pipe which will take away the look of the free standing effect also when you are burning wood you couldn' t feed it even with airflow at its lowest

Stove expert replied: The door should be able to be closed without banging it, the locking mechanism has a locking mechanism that the handle operates with little pressure. The stove should not be moving on operation of the door and the flue should be held in place with brackets as required but at least every 1.5mtrs. I am not sure what you refer to about feeding the stove even with airflow at its lowest!
