Had this stove for 5 years it''s been faultless, after much thought of which stove we were lucky to see one working in a friend's house and that swayed us. Being British made was a plus but
getting spares when needed was also important of which Arrada are very keen on. Once mastered, the airwash is very good we can go 3 days before its needs a rub over, but dry fuel is the key to it, build a log store and prepare in advance to getting your stove not the other way round. I use top down method for lighting as fire is really hot hence clean glass, ovoids also burn well in it as the flexifuel grate does its job, another thing that swayed us. Weather plays a big part in stoves, damp still days means you have watch them more both the airwash and draw. This stove is a real belter and we would recommend this to anybody who is pondering over what to choose. Nice tip we put a small iron rivet on the stove with a little scented oil, along with the stove fan has the house smelling of whatever you put in, today its Jasmine.Thank you Arrada made us happy.

Great comments all round, nice tip on how to make the house smell nice!
Totally delighted with this stove. Pumps out a pack of heat to our lounge and elsewhere in our home as door to room is always open and no need for central heating to kick in. Cosy and great
to look at fire. Will be saving us money as reduced central heating costs!
I thought I would do a quick review as this website proved an invaluable resource when I was stove hunting. So we've had the stove in for around 4 months now, but really only using is in anger
for about 3. The stove has been fantastic. The Plus model is simply a wider version of the Ecoburn five. It comfortable heats a large living room with enough heat spilling out into adjacent rooms to leave the heating off in (an admittedly mild) February. We have reasonably high ceilings at 3m, so it takes around 30mins for the heat to reach you when sitting down.It fairly eats hard wood, but I think this applies to all stoves not just this one. Easy to light and quick to take, like all stoves it has its own personality so you will soon get the hang of how much wood and/or coal to use for your room. On that note, I find that starting it big with larger logs then once established, scattering your preferred coal on the bottom with a nice log on top, provides a lovely warmth that will get you very nicely through the 10 o'clock news. It will still be glowing when you get up the following day.Well built, unfussy, not likely to date like more modern designs. Highly recommended.
