Review of Villager Esprit 8 Solo stove

Great product, big view of firebox

Having had a few other stoves previously it is very pleasing to find a well crafted stove made in the UK. Solid build and large window gives great viewing of the fire. We have a boiler so our gas is redundant when this is working. Easy to light and control, do use the glove provided as the handles do get hot!! (Not a problem once you know this is expected). Riddling takes longer due to the new style of grate but the plus side is you can get more fuel in the box. Will stay in overnight once you have mastered where to set the air controls. Great stove giving plenty of heat.
