Don''t bother with Varde stoves
I have a Varde Uniq 1 stove that was properly installed by one of their recognised fitters. It is useless! The fire will keep going unless the door is slightly ajar. No amount of experimenting with the secondary and primary vent works. It is like there is no proper airwash. The installer has come back and taken a look and verified that everything is installed properly and does not know why it is not working. Basically it is a very poor design! Don''t bother with Varde. In fact, download their instructions and have a read - they are the worse instructions, the diagrams used in the instructions aren''t even of the same stove!!
