Review of Stratford EB 9 HE stove

Advice please.

I have the Eco boiler no9, I have had this in a year and I think it's very poor and my rads barely hear up. Never is my fire on in the morning after being stacked up the night before using the round expensive coal. After an hour or two of fresh coal and logs my fire is practically out. I have noticed though that the control 1-6 when I turn this ash falls out, I felt under fire and at the side there's a hole and that's where this ash is coming from. Can anyone help should this hole be there. Thanks if anyone can help. Gayle
