Review of Stratford EB 9 HE stove

A compact and efficient stove.

This is a great stove and much easier to live with than the Parkray it replaces. The stove is easy to light and keep going and gives out a lot of heat if using Phurnacite. We can now keep all the radiators hot in our exposed end of terrace home and have plenty of hot water too. Also due to it's construction this stove is airtight which means controllable burning even in very windy weather. Only 2 minor niggles. The ash pan could be a better fit and bigger and the two cast iron blocks at the rear of the boiler are too easy to dislodge in routine ash raking. That said I really rate this stove and can offer a whole hearted recommendation.
