Review of Stovax Vogue Small stove
Smoke when refuelling
Lovely looking stove. Rear vent impossible to reach when in operation due to my fireplace, damper position very hard to know where you are, pumps smoke out constantly when refuelling, riddle grate seized within 1 month, ash drops onto hearth constantly when door open, ash goes under fire when sweeping heart due to arched bottom construction. Door handle almost on floor for opening so have to kneel on every occasion. So disappointed, I’ve tried to love it and work around its foibles, but hearing so many other complain of the same things I simply concluded that it is a very poorly designed stove and I will change it as soon as something else expensive breaks. (Parts now discontinued so I guess Stovax got the message).
