Stove expert replied: the second baffle probably does not get as hot as the first baffle. One should expect more deposits and condensation to form on the second baffle. Perhaps it might be worth getting a moisture meter to check the fuel quality. If the fire is being slow burnt or slumber burnt then this would also contribute.

Stove expert replied: it really sounds like a problem with the chimney here, not the stove.
Love the stove but have a problem with where you put the door handle in. There is a guard around the hole that you put the handle in and ours has come out and wont stay back in again. Not sure... [ read more ]
