Better than an open fire

The insert stove has transformed our living room. It is just as nice as looking at an open fire but definitely throws over 80% of the heat into the room. We have only used a mixture of logs and turf and the ashes are so fine, once cooled, can be hoovered up with a good ash vacuum cleaner. Lights very easily using a small fire lighter every time.
