Review of Stovax Brunel 2cb stove

Disapointed

Roger Jelbert 9 months ago

It is a messy stove to operate because ash falls out the front when opening the door. The ashpan is too small.

I installed mine about 20 years ago and it''s only had occasional use ever since. two years ago the front part of the top casting fell off, revealing a long term crack in the casting which meant the top had only been held on by two "ears" at each side.

Have used it this last week during a cold spell and today the entire front panel and doors have fallen off. Broken lugs mean it''s unrepaiable - a write off. Would not recommend.
