Review of Saltfire ST-X5 Multi Fuel Stove

Flexible, efficient stove with great viewing window

Robert F 4 years ago

Had this installed about a month ago and have burned wood, wood briquettes, peat, coffee logs etc. All go very well. Big panel of stove glass gives a great view of the fire. Airwash is amazing! It doesn''t kick in until we''d gone through the week long running in process detailed in the manual and you start getting to the hotter fires (i.e. once we started burning briquettes rather than just wood), but it cleans the glass like new! Brilliant price for a fantastic stove. Three different air controls and even a lever for jogging the fire a bit without having to open the door, although not mentioned in the manual. Good price, and made locally. Very pleased. Thank you Saltfire for making a great stove.
