Review of Parkray Consort 7

Struggling with this stove.

Patricia Mullin 4 years ago

Professionally fitted, I am struggling to get this stove to perform as it should. To begin with the instruction booklet is poor and not particularly well written or clear, particularly with naming of the parts and what they do. The woodburner appears to have parts that actually block the air flow. I have other wood burners that work well. This one is a bit of a mystery we only ever get either no burn or too fast a burn and never get to the flames lapping the glass, which one month in is filthy. I think I will have to get the installer back. Even when fully burning it is not providing much in the way of heat.

Stove expert replied: Hopefully this is now sorted after having the installer back, it is likely to be something to do with the installation but please check that the internal parts have been fitted correctly.
