Review of Parkray Consort 5

Very happy with the Woodburning Stove

Gael Hedge 10 years ago

This is our first stove and I picked it because it was more simple and modern and gave a good view of the flames whilst lit. It has taken me a little time to get used to ensuring plenty of kindling is used and wood is not too large and completely dry. Easy to empty, although some residue remains inside and requires vacuuming. Glass easy to clean. My only fault is the pin holding the door on keeps rising and has come off a couple of times. Overall, very content with this fire and would recommend.

Stove expert replied: If the door pin is taken out and slightly knocked on the botom to splay it you may find that it remains in place better as it will be a tighter fit.
