Review of Morso Viking 7110 woodburning stove

Simplicity and elegance from the Viking

Donald Faulds 8 months ago

The Morso Viking 7110 has just one air control and the main door has an insulated handle! (Many new stoves have lots of controls for different air supplies - sometimes 3 separate dials or sliders and require a glove to use the controls and door). The main body of the Viking is cast iron and looks great - beautiful detailing and a Viking motif on each side. A large fire box and a single clear window. It lights up and burns just great with a beautiful flame view. Superb control from just one lever. Glass stays very clean due to the air design. My previous Morso Panther lasted 29 winters of daily use, I expect this new one could last just as long. There are cheaper stoves out there but not all are made as well or last like a Morso :-)
