We searched long and hard to find a durable, easily lit, small, price effective wood burner and we found much more for our money. It's worth doing the research as our led us to the morso squirrel. Having never had a wood burner before, we learned how to light a firebox and had the burner going in the first day we had it installed. The burner does take getting used to in lighting the first few wood pieces but it's an efficient piece of kit that allows air to help you achieve this, I have not had to clean the glass once since i have learned the art of firing it up correctly and the ashpan means my living stays marvelously clean. Everyone comments on our woodburner, the look and feel is so much so, that our guests want one in their homes too. Without this our central heating bill would have been 3 times higher than the norm. If we don't end up taking our wood burner to the next house when we move, I would consider purchasing another burner, but only a morso, perhaps a larger one!
