Had it 8 years and no issues other than replacing the door glass twice (kids!) Burns well and clean as long as seasoned wood is used, also can burn smokeless fuel. Will stay in overnight but tend not to, it smoke a bit if you let it burn too slowly.

Usually it produces enough heat to open the living room door and let the heat drift upstairs at which stage we can knock the central heating off.
