Review of Morso Owl stove

New to all this!

First time I have had a stove, it is a lovely build and its a good looking stove, no fussy detail which I like. I probably didn't appreciate how much work having a stove is in terms of getting the wood, cleaning the stove and starting it up, but there is nothing like sitting looking into the flames of an evening when curled up on the sofa. The effort it takes does make you think whether you really want to put the stove on or not. Having said that, it is easy to clean, it has a riddle pan and grate and the tray pulls out so you can throw the ash in the bin or composter. I particularly like that you can remove the handle from the front of the stove when in use, this reassures me that my kids are not going to open the front door when I am out of the room. This is our first year with the stove and already we have begun collecting wood which will be ready for use next year (cuts from our own and friends trees etc). Hopefully having a stash of wood that will make things easier, and it will start paying for itself.
