We have had this stove in a brick built fireplace in our 40' x 25' double height barn conversion for about three years now, and are very happy with it. It's really efficient (it's our third
stove, and second Morso) and quickly heats up this very large space. There are only three minor disappointments: 1. The glass doesn't stay particularly clean - we only burn seasoned wood, so maybe if we mixed fuels this would improve. 2. We had a glass panel crack for no apparent reason; the stove was cold and nothing was in contact with it at all. This was costly to replace. 3. The side loading door is a great feature, but we can't use it because the side of the fireplace won't allow this. Our fault, I guess, but we missed this when planning! These are minor niggles - the stove is really well designed, and we'd happily have another.
