Review of Morso 3142 stove

Morso Quality

After much research and largely based on the ratings given to this stove on the WhatStove? web site, we decided to invest in the 3142 and haven't been disappointed. Like many people, we wanted to try to cut down on oil heating costs and this seems to be the environmentally friendly way forward. Morso pride themselves on eco issues in any case [advising not to burn throughout the night, interestingly] so the ethics also appeal.

So far, so very good; lighting is straightforward enough and we don't use nay paper as this creates additional ash. Leave the door slightly ajar for a few minutes with both air supplies fully open to increase the draw and it's all systems go.

Our only criticism is that the instruction manual from Morso for the effective operation of the stove is dreadful! It doesn't even make clear which air control is which . Overall, however, you will be making a very good investment should you opt for this excellent product.
