Review of Merlin Midline stove

quality stove

I have the midline on a log base, quality and finish is top notch, I am a life long nacs hetas reg chimney sweep and a stove geek, this is the best of the merlin stoves because of its depth which means your hearth will stay clean no ash spill. The air wash on this stove truly does mean clear glass , no other stove stays quite as crystal clear I always have at least 3 stoves live in my house a burley a woodwarm and now the merlin, its basically a copy of a clearview but better the air supply around the stove is more advanced than a clearview, the only slight faults would be the chrome handle option is a bit pricey, and the threads the knobs connect to for the riddler and air control are not of the highest quality but I am very very fussy so don't let that put you off, the question of does the handle get hot is slightly unusual as the burley stays cool its wood but most do get very hot

Stove expert replied: Nice review from someone who has experience of various models so a good comparison can be made.
