Poor air wash

A good looking little stove with an impressive heat output but, oh dear, the air wash system is very poor. Hardwood, 2 year seasoned logs but the glass blackens up every time. No response from aga online when I asked for tips. As a result, I could not recommend this multi-fuel stove.

Stove expert replied: It would be worth looking at the installation as there may not be enough draw / free air to keep the glass clean, there may be a need to have an air brick in the room if your home is very insulated.

    Fitted by HETAS registered engineer. An air vent was installed in the room.
