Review of Jotul F105 stove

Jotul Quality

Angus Robertson 2 years ago

We purchased this for a small business (holiday self catering cottage) and I wanted to try it out in our house prior to fitting it, so we temporarily swapped it out with the Jotul 602.

I was really surprised how much heat it throws out for so little amount of firewood. It’s small but heavy and the cast iron stays hot for hours after the fire is out.

At first sight I knew it was very well made, excellent quality, which is what you expect from a renowned company like Jotul. I had initially intended to purchase a Morsø 1442, but the Jotul was sitting next to it in the showroom and was more appealing, mainly due to the looks but also the handle operation and view of the fire.

It’s easy to light and the embers stay in for long periods. I highly recommend the Jotul f105.
