  I purchased the Hunter inset Telford 8 several years ago, it has give me great service, easy to light, with good controls, no spares have been required although I will soon be replacing the

  Would not recommend this stove as it has a design fault with the handle. I have had five handles and Hunter redesigned door and handle which was worse.

  Stove expert replied: Hunter take customer warranty issues seriously and have liaised with you I believe over the reoccurring handle problem and have undertaken a site visit along with the dealer to satisfy themselves that there is no obvious fault. This fault is very unusual and not one that they have had other contacts regarding. It is important to make sure that the handle has been fully turned before trying to open the door as strain can be put on the handle mechanism if not fully disengaged with the stove body before opening.
