It smokes like crazy when you open the doors to load fuel ther seems to be no solution to this. The handles are a bad design and you have to use Oven gloves to open and close them after the fire is going. The latches themselves look very flimsy only made from threaded rod looks like they will not last the pace. This replaced a Stanley Erin wich was not up to the job of heating the room but had a very good finish and did not smoke when you opened the door.

Stove expert replied: Seek expert flue advice to overcome the smoking problem as it is a shame not to enjoy your stove.
