Review of Hunter Herald 8 stove

Big stove and easy to use

Mike Mason 15 years ago

A great stove. Big box for big logs. As long as you remember to use the top grill for controlling air flow for wood burning and use the bottom grills for charcoal, you'll be just fine. Inherited mine when I moved house and had to fit new glass, new rope seals and also had to reseal the chimney pipe. Once that was all done the Hunter stove soon builds up a good heat (I have a large room and this size of stove is ideal).

Recommended.
